This concept of nutrition is incorporated into the cat food system, called the Prey model (Prey model raw, PMR), where cats are fed either whole carcasses of animals and birds, or a ratio of meat ingredients close to the “ideal prey”is used. For example, a diet containing 80-87% parts of the carcass with the heart, skin, tendons and fat, 5-10% – bones, 3-5% – liver, 5% – other offal. the prey model is used to create frozen and chilled animal diets.
